a little about me...

1. I LOVE TO TRAVEL. I love to go to new places and try new things, especially with my family. This life is so good and there is so much for us to experience. I believe every place, as well as every person, has something to teach us. As I have gone different places, I have realized that we need to do what we can to have these experiences. We need to be willing to face our fears, try new things, and seek out the good. My favorite place I've ever been is Peru. We got to hike Machu Picchu, and it was incredible. As a family, we love to go to Hawaii and Lake Powell. 

2. I LOVE SPORTS. Growing up I ran a little bit a track, played basketball and soccer. Lots of soccer. I love to snowboard and go boating. You'll probably notice that my collegiate affiliations are a little interesting. While I graduated from BYU, all my athletic allegiance lies with the University of Utah. My dad played football there, and I've grown up going to all the games. I went to BYU because I wanted to be able to teach all of the social sciences, and they don't offer that at the University of Utah. 

3. I LOVE ANIMALS. This one is pretty self explanatory. Basically, I love all kinds of animals and have a hard time not catching them...
